INITIATIVE OF IQAC

MAJOR INITIATIVES

Besides the regular activities the IQAC of Bolpur College has taken the following initiatives:

• Preparation of Academic Calendar and Teaching Plan (Course Modules) in consultation with the individual departments.
• Introduction of student mentoring system 
• Introduction of Add-on courses as multidisciplinary value added courses supplementary to the regular degree courses
• MOU’s and research collaborations with other HEI’s and private concerns aiming at student and teacher exchanging, resource sharing and job oriented training.
• Conduction of Academic & administrative audits.
• Collection & analysis of feedbacks from different stakeholders about the college.
• Establishment of several clubs like Nature club, Literary club, Health Clubs etc.
• Preparation of Green & environment, Energy audits through Nature club.
• Establishment of Kishan Mitra Cell to help the farmers to test soil quality and advising them with proper crop selection for their land aiming to reduce environmental degradation. 
• Automation of the Library and introduction of IT in academic as well as administrative works
• Quality enhancement of teachers through RC/OP/STC and conducting seminar/workshops on latest issues. Establishment of research cell to promote research.
• Sensitization of the students on many relevant issues through seminar & awareness camps.
• Conduction of Gender audit and gender sensitization programmes.
• Affirmative actions for empowerment of girl students.
